Auto detailing goes beyond a wash: a full detail typically includes clay bar decontamination, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, a sealant or wax, and a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and conditioned leather. Detail shops price by vehicle size and condition, and a full interior and exterior detail takes most of a day. Ceramic coatings are a hardened liquid layer applied after paint correction that lasts years rather than weeks and makes washing easier; paint protection film (PPF, or clear bra) is a self-healing urethane wrap that stops rock chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors. Window tint shops apply dyed, carbon or ceramic film to cut heat and glare, subject to each state's visible light transmission limits.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Kensington is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Kensington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We had our new 2026 Lexus UX tinted yesterday, and we couldn't be happier! This is the best tint job we've ever had. The tinting materials are high quality, and AJ even came to our house to perform the work. We will definitely contact Tint Galaxy again if we purchase another vehicle that needs tinting. Highly recommended!

I recently had my Mercedes AMG CLE 53 wrapped by AJ at Tint Galaxy and the results exceeded my expectations. I had several exterior trim pieces wrapped in gloss black, including part of the roof, spoiler lip, and door handle chrome sections, and everything came out looking exactly like a factory OEM finish. AJ’s attention to detail was excellent. The edges were clean, the gloss match was perfect, and there were no visible seams or imperfections. The car honestly looks like it came from Mercedes this way from the factory. You can tell he takes pride in his work and understands how important fit and finish are on higher-end vehicles. The turnaround time was also impressive. I dropped the car off and everything was completed in about 4 hours. Professional service, quality workmanship, and great overall experience. I highly recommend using AJ at Tint Galaxy if you want clean, high-quality wrap work done right the 1st time.

By far the best installer in the DMV, more wraps look bad than good. The job A.J did on my Gle you’d think it came as factory paint. Attention to detail is there and worth every penny.

I had the pleasure of using Tint Galaxy over the last couple of days for multiple services they offer. I purchased a new car and wanted the windows tinted. AJ was able to do the tint at the Mercedes dealership before I even picked up the car. Then I inquired about having my door handles wrapped in black. He was able to accommodate me the next day and at the dealership again. AJ is polite, customer friendly, professional and efficient. His work is amazing! He also says if for any reason, I need any touch up or repairs no problem, and to reach back out and he will take care of it. I highly recommend Tint Galaxy for any of your tinting and car wrap needs. I can ensure you will have the same experience I did with AJ and their services. Thank you AJ, I am a happy satisfied customer.

AJ did an amazing job on my Shelby today. Had to pull tints in a hurry in December to pass MD inspection, resulting in adhesive left in all windows. AJ first got all the residue safely off, then installed new tints looking great. Super nice guy, upfront pricing, quality work. Will be back!
